What Do You Think?

We can see that everyone leaves their “physical” body behind. As they say, “you can’t take it with you”. Being identified as a body, does not give much hope to humanity. That is because we are here relatively for a very short time on this plain struggling with what is on the outside of ourselves.

When we give an honest look at our beliefs and seek to understand coherently, considering all that we have learned, we can eventually realize or recognize that the “mind”, that is inside of us, is one mind shared everywhere and just as much “outside of us”. Like the cosmic radio background noise holding all signals, it is just accessed differently by “individuals”. When we understand this, we can move into being One with all Beings. This will open us to a higher dimension in this present “reality”.

“God” is never away from us because the life that “God” is, is everywhere in which we move and have our being. It is said that our God and Lord is One, and beside him there is no other. It is He that kills and makes alive. Does not that imply He is playing all the parts? By “God”, I mean our awareness of being.

This “Oneness” in awareness, is how we can imagine and see remote locations and would account for most other psychic phenomenon. We can imagine the “future” (which is nothing more than a concept) and make it happen by feeling it as truth. You are already doing this but, have been unaware that you are creating with the power of God. Because God is within as us and not something separate from our own awareness. We deny that power within us when believing that we are separate from the very power he has endowed to everyone.

We should not have the feeling that he does not hear us or see our every intention in the dark and lonely regions of our own thinking. Because we do not always hear an audible response, a prophet wrote , “Lord, why sleepest thou?”

The Pearl Of Great Price

You probably know that salt was a preservative and was used before there were refrigerators. There is an interesting story that most people have heard of but did not recognize its deeper meaning. It is about Lot’s wife “turning back” and becoming a pillar of salt. Looking back means looking at “things that have already been manifested” (looking outwardly into this world). Doing so preserves what has been crystalized and manifests it again and holds us to getting more of the same. This is why we are told that the one who ploughs a field, and looks back is not worthy of heaven (The promise of a life that is free as a child of God, but instead, is held in bondage to the things seen outwardly)

It is important we imagine possibilities unseen and feel the truth that they “are now” as in our visions. This vision will happen outwardly if you persist in your assumption that it is accomplished already on a higher dimensional plain and do not look “back” to what has already become manifested, they are the works that we have already made or “ploughed in this field”.

We are not here to destroy what has been made but are told to not resist evil, and to not build in vain. Trying to change what already “is”, is the same as trying to change results by working with results, this is building in vain. One must work with “cause” in order to change “results”. This is the meaning also of a “virgin” birth. You give life to states of being that have no inception from outward appearances but by the use of your imagination.

Loved ones are not really gone, as it seems, when the body no longer displays signs of life. Their essence of mind still remains within us and all around us as part of that infinite Source. The alchemist call it the “one thing”. The ancient Greeks called it “no thing”. Many may refer to this animating principle as “spirit”, but we lack understanding to describe it accurately, the All that “God” or awareness is.

You can still visit the ones that have gone from this dimension, or anyone else, just by visiting them in your imagination. Once you try to imagine, and do not think about how simple or silly this sounds, your imagination ( or “Jesus”, The power of God in action, “the way”) works naturally to serve up those thoughts into a more realistic and coherent structure, and then consciousness (Our “Father” or “I am”) starts working to fill in the materials around that visions structure, much like an architect uses a blueprint. This vision is further strengthen by our actions working FROM the assumption that the vision is true in the current moment. This is how all “things” have been made.

According to your “feelings” of it being the truth, (the substance of things hoped for) is referred to as the “faith that pleases God.” It is a feeling of joy for having already received the blessing without seeing it’s evidence (giving life to the unseen). Because, it is the power within us and we must really accept and acknowledge that “I am” that very power and not this body but the giver of it’s life. Yes, each of us is the operating power that directs this power within us to give life to our own states of being.

Our awareness is entombed within “Golgatha”, or, the skull. Put another way… We are given new life, “reborn” in a sense, when we accept this fulfilling of the promise. It is the grace of our imaginal acts and not the works of our hands that build the age to come. Because it is our “ideas” that give rise to our actions. Let the poor person say “I am rich” and the weak say “I am strong”. Let the message of hope, faith and Love be in your thinking first because your own “household” (of your thoughts) “are where your enemies are” and are ready to “cast stones” (the facts of outside appearances)”. Do not let your thinking claim any illness as by stating, “my” head aches. Who is feeling it, if you are not the body that you leave behind? I say it is already dead because it is already done, it is your “ploughed field”.

Look to the promise that God is with you now and always, and look again into your thinking and pay attention to what is going on inside that cave. Is it well lit? Or, is it filled with phantoms of what once was? One day you will come out of that tomb. “Life” is happening for us now and is the greatest gift that is our “present” and “Eternal” Now. It is our inheritance by virtue of being Gods children, people of conscience.

Do not take the simplicity of this message as reducing God to the finite outward man. We are raised by the understanding that within you is the infinite power and infinite understanding waiting for you to reveal it within yourself by way of believing that you have this power of “I am”. As the prodigal son, claim your inheritance.

The stories of the Bible are this pattern within us when it is understood as relevant in the “now” as an allegory and not as a story about people that lived thousands of years ago and looked at as a historical piece.

Return to the consciousness of unity and choose to give life to your own choices of your state of being. Each moment holds infinite states to choose from as all things are possible in the imagination. You will at last, trade in all your old beliefs for this “Pearl” of wisdom because this is the cost to redeem your own inner riches.

Happiness is a choice and not something you will ever find by the things outside of you. Be blessed in your gathering of understanding, and think of this rhetorical question… “What Do You Think?” That is between you and your future state of being.
